Look through the stuff you bought over the years. What are the most expensive things you have? How much did you pay for it? Where did you buy it? Do you like having these things or do you sometimes feel that you were better off saving that cash? Do you collect expensive things, if so what do you collect?
i don't understand this question. i mean my husband and i own our house and the appliances are expensive. As for jewelry, I don't own anything expensive. I love it but only get interesting lower budget pieces. I never want to be tied down with stuff. I do have a problem with owning clothes, but I never pay full price for anything.
asking how much we payed for "expensive' things is a ride question. I also think everyone's perception of the word expensive is different. i'm really bad at explaining stuff like this, so i'm hoping someone can clarify better than I can ...
I've bought expensive jewelry for myself in the past. I've also bought a couple really expensive brands of perfume. I'm not saying how much I spent, but yes, I do have some regrets. I could really use that money now.
The most expensive thing I've spent on was between either a BrailleNote, a Romeo Classic Braille embosser, and a Braille 'n Speak Scholar. all at separate times of course. The first 2 were used and the Scholar was new. The BrailleNote was worth it, as I use it pretty often, but the Braille embosser I couldn't get to work correctly for whatever reason so I kind of regret buying that one. The Scholar would have came in handy, being that it has a graphing calculator feature and I had bought it for my math class, but I don't use it anymore although it still works perfectly fine. I didn't regret buying the Scholar at the time, but if I knew I wouldn't've end up needing it I would have saved my money since I already had the BraillNote that I was using for general notetaking/writing. As for clothes and shoes, I don't buy anything expensive, and since I rarely wear jewry, makeup, and perfumes, I personally don't spend on that. Most of everything else was given to me, but when I do buy something I look at the quality and if it is worth that price, but if I could get that same thing for cheaper I would go for that.
Some people may think $100 for a dress is expensive, some may not. It just depends how much money they have and how much they're willing to spend based on their budget. Someone might be able to spend $70 on a meal at a nice place every week, but someone who only has $50 a month after spending the rest of their money on bills is surely not going to be able to do that. I love having expensive things and get them when I can, but I have also learned to live with only the basic things I need so either way is fine for me.
yes i've spent on some ex[expencive things in the past, but don't regret them. most expencive? my house.
Hey, I'm sorry I didn't mean to include the how much question or to sound rude to anyone. But anyway, the most expensive thing I have is my prosthetic eyes. Laughs, Its a small glass eye, but it cost too much whenn I bought it custom made. Other than that, I have some expensive perfumes and hand bags. I agree with poster 2, I don't pay full price when i'm buying clothes. I usually buy those when they are on sale or most of the time, i buy my clothes from the trift store. Its cheap and you get a lot within a $ 20 budget.
